About The Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Community Life and Leisure Team Leader to join our Shoalhaven team. This role provides day-to-day guidance and support to Disability Support Workers ensuring high-quality and person-centred services that enhance the independence, inclusion and wellbeing of participants.

As Team Leader, you’ll oversee the delivery of NDIS supports, coordinate daily operations, maintain compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, and build strong connections with families, carers, and local community networks.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Lead and support your team to deliver engaging, person-centred programs aligned with participant goals and NDIS plans.

  • Model and promote Greenacres’ values, fostering a positive and inclusive culture.

  • Oversee daily scheduling, attendance and documentation in Greenacres systems.

  • Support the Area Coordinator with staff coaching, on-the-job training and performance feedback.

  • Build strong, respectful relationships with participants, families and other service providers.

  • Promote participant wellbeing, dignity and independence through meaningful leisure, recreation and life skills activities.

  • Ensure compliance with Greenacres’ policies, the NDIS Practice Standards, and Work Health & Safety procedures.

About You

You are a confident and compassionate leader who thrives in a people-focused environment. You bring strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of person-centred practice and the ability to coach and guide others to deliver quality outcomes.

You Will Have:

  • Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support – Disability, or equivalent experience/qualification.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting people with disability in community or leisure settings.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to guide, coach and motivate others.

  • Sound knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and person-centred approaches.

  • Current First Aid, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Driver’s Licence.
