Greenacres, alongside the IDA, forms new partnership with UOW

Greenacres is proud to be part of a new partnership set to strengthen disability services and research across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven. The Illawarra Disability Alliance and the UOW: University of Wollongong, Australia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, bringing UOW's research and education expertise together with IDA's network of disability service providers, including Greenacres.
Karen Burdett, CEO of Greenacres Disability Services, signed on behalf of the IDA and said, "We are confident this agreement will create real world opportunities for teams from the region's most capable providers to work in partnership with faculties across the University to support quality outcomes for people with disability across our region."
The partnership will focus on workforce development, student placements, applied research, and shared use of facilities, helping build stronger pathways and better outcomes for people with disability across the region.
