Greenacres successfully receives Community Building Partnership grant for new equipment

We are excited to share that we recently received a $30,000 grant through the NSW Government's Community Building Partnership program, that has allowed us to invest in a brand-new shrink-wrapping machine, and our supported employees are already feeling the difference.

Aleisha, our Head of Marketing and Business Development and Audra, our Chief Commercial Officer, showed Minister Paul Scully around our production area and explained how the shrink-wrap machine would help increase our production capacity.

Andrew, one of our employees who works in our BodySafe body bags production team, said it best when asked what the new equipment meant for the team: "We are able to do twice as many as we previously could."

New equipment means new skills building opportunities, greater efficiency, and more meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability. A huge thank you to Wollongong MP Paul Scully and the NSW Government for making this possible!
