Championing Inclusive Employment: A Week of Advocacy at Greenacres

We'd like to highlight some more of the great advocacy opportunities that we have engaged in recently!

Our CEO Karen Burdett and Chief Commercial Officer Audra Tuckwood had the privilege of meeting with Ministers Houssos, Chanthivong and Washington to advocate for government procurement reform and greater support for social enterprises like Greenacres.

We also had the pleasure of attending a Business Illawarra event in Kiama alongside Premier Chris Minns and a number of local representatives, including Katelin McInerney MP. Events like these are an important reminder of what is possible when business, community and government come together.

Social enterprises like ours play a vital role in creating real, meaningful employment for people with disability, and we are grateful for the opportunity to bring that message directly to the ministers.

At Greenacres, we will keep advocating for the people we support and the businesses that champion inclusive employment. Thank you to everyone who took the time to meet with us and listen.
