Karen Burdett catches up with local MPs, Carol Berry & Anna Watson

It was our privilege to welcome Carol Berry MP and Anna Watson MP to our café at Shellharbour Airport recently for a catch up with our CEO Karen Burdett.

The conversation covered the vital role the NDIS plays in the lives of people with disability across the Illawarra, and how local and state government can continue to partner with organisations like ours to strengthen the support available in our region.

Karen shared some of the real-world opportunities and challenges currently facing the sector, from employment and training through to community programs and social inclusion. It's always meaningful to have these conversations with people who have the ability to make a difference.
