our CEO Karen Burdett had the privilege of representing Illawarra Disability Alliance members at the Joint Standing Committee on the NDIS Integrity inquiry, alongside colleagues Alisha Musker, Tarryn Bracken, Rebecca Coombes and Andrew Chesterman.
They spoke to the critical role that quality, registered providers play in the scheme, and raised serious concerns about whether current design and administration challenges are putting the sector's long-term sustainability at risk.
At the heart of this conversation are the people we support. The committee heard the importance of getting these changes right, so that employment opportunities and community participation remain accessible to everyone who needs them. As always, Greenacres continues to advocate for the people with disability and their families.
